  5. String Quilt

This is a lap-size quilt (64x64) for my aunt. It is made with quilting cotton scraps on top, the batting is fleece, and the back is muslin. It was quilted with simple straight lines on my DSM.

    Finished 2014.

  6. Not now!

by , 03-29-2014 at 11:20 AM (Mystery solved!)
Washed a dark piece of material on low load, then tossed another load in. Mid cycle totally quit. Was hoping to get another month or 2 out of my washer. It is about 14 years but just wanted to finish this one. Will just have to hand rinse then toss into dryer. Guess I should be grateful DH says we will get new tomorrow. My granddaughter has asked me to make her a Lion King quilt for her birthday (like the one I made for her cousin 10 years ago, LOL!). I found a panel on ebay but I can't seem to find anything else to go with it. Anyone have any LK fabric or panels in their stash that they would like to sell?

Pics of all your handiwork are greatly appreciated! :-)
