I want to make an Advent calendar for my grandson. I am having a hard time find a panel. My children had the Cranston Beary Merry Christmas calendar and I would like something along that line. Any suggestions?
Hi all, just joined recently and Im wondering if there are any Florida gals out there. I live near northern Tampa. It might be fun to share some local news about quilt shops , meetings, expos, meetups and fun stuff in general.
My name is Pauline aka pollio1940. You may guess what the
1940 stands for.
Have a great day.
PS This is my first blog ever. Hope I do it right. For me, its like talking to old friends.

Yesterday I started cutting them with my 60 degree ruler. This is what I ended up with. How fun is that!!!
I used fabrics for the border I have had for a very long time.It is some of my favorite and I forgot all about it in a cupboard. I love fabric with stars and most every quilt I have done has star

On a whim I decided to make this for my grandson's Graduation/Going away party. He has enlisted in our Military and will be leaving in September. I did not have much time so it is very simple, started cutting squares on Friday, finished the quilt on Monday.

Got it at a thrift shop - have no idea if this machine is still around,
but would be glad to send it to anyone who has the machine and does not have a manual for it. Looks quite old, but I have no idea how old.
Please just write me at firstname.lastname@example.org and send me your address and I'll be glad to mail it to you. Best wishes, Marion
I am making quilts (mostly flannel ones) for all my nieces and nephews. The latest one is for my youngest niece.
