An exercise in Tangle, Zen that is.........

Decided to try the ZenTangle thing, so with pen in hand, I threw caution to the wind.. Its a good start I think. I layered two pieces of white broadcloth and used black thread. The back is interesting too. I think I will bind the edge and keep both sides as reference. This will be the first of several subjects.

PS, can you tell she looks tired and somewhat sad? Yeah, I've been under the weather its funny how your work will reflect

It was made with really nice cotton fabric, dang nearly perfect stitching, hand painted faces and bamboo. The creator did sign it. I fell in love with the piece especially since it was made really well & with care, I brought it home washed it and proceeded to take it apart. So I made a mug rug, I free motioned all of the background. I made a lavender pin cushion and a needle carry case. I just love it. If you notice I printed my label along with the creators signature. So when I export from picasa i have a choice on the size picture i want to export to a file on my desktop. I'm doing a round mug rug, I want it to look as though you are looking into a pond at a coi fish. I put organza over the fish to see if I like the effect. When i post the picture on the board, it must be cropped, lightened and made the size best for observing on the computer.
