I have used Roku since 2008 and have purchased three more for bedroom, kitchen, living room (for using Pandora on our sound system). I also have a Roku in my sewing room. I buy the Roku unit that offers closed caption. Sometimes I use my wireless headset so I don't disturb others in my house. I watch Netflix on our TVs mainly. I go on my computer to the Netflix site (same with Pandora) and pick what I want to watch or listen to and fill up my queue then my queue shows up on Netflix on TV. Now that TV's have a flat screen they hardly take up any space. If you have any questions you can ask me and I'll try to help. I wouldn't be without a Roku in my home.
We are also wanting to pull the cable plug. Terribly expensive for the little we watch. I would be interested to hear from others how it's working out. We now have a couple pay as you go cell phones but will need internet. The rest I don't care about but my hubby loves his golf.
