I bought a BL Symphony at last year's quilt show in Houston. I see that there is a BSR for this machine now. Has anyone used this before and is it worth purchasing? Price quoted locally is $1,200!!

Also, has anyone used monopoly invisible thread with the Symphony? I am currently working on a Caryl Bryer Fallert quilt that requires the use of this thread, however, it's been pretty difficult to get the tension right. I am using a 1mm zig zag stitch with regular thread in the bobbin and .004 poly in the top. Thinking I may want to purchase a Bernina as a second machine to do this type of stitching...?
