I know that they say we learn by our mistakes, well if that is true than I should be learning a lot these days. Now I have found another problem that I made for myself. I'm making a small quilt for my 9 month old Grandson. I had these really cute pieces of fabric in my stash that was given to me by some of you wonderful ladies. I thought it would make a nice "boy" quilt with things that boys like. Well I cut enough to make one 15" square of the Bear Paw Pattern and put it together

I just saw your response to my yellow, pink, and orange quilt. Thank you so much! It is the Zipper pattern from the book "Modern Quilt Workshop" by Weeks and Ringle. A really good book with easy, fun patterns.
Thanks again, have a good weekend!

Gorgeous colors. You could still add more embellishments if you desire. You can still add a border around the edge, looks like the pearls will be sewn over, but it still should work.
Lesson for next project, keep heavy embellishments from the edge. But lace and trims I take out to the edge for the border to cover the ends.
