Here we go again, hope this is better.
Hi, just bought me a Brother PE770 embroidery machine. I love my embroidery almost as much as quilting. Tried it out the other night and it is so easy, user friendly, I guess you can call it. My husband just got himself a
red tractor, but I embroidered him a green one on an old shirt to test it out.
Can hardly wait to make lots of Christmas gifts with. Husband is putting down my flooring, way over do, in sewing room tonight. Have so much stuff and so little space to put it in. Anyway
Just finished this quilt yesterday. Will be giving it to her on the 28th for her Bday. My youngest granddaughter came over turkey hunting and gave her her quilt. and guess what she says. My aunt Mary just made me a Seahawk quilt, but she still loved this one.
Got the youngest GDs quilt finished. Now time to concentrate on VBS. Am working on a modern quilt too, but who knows when that will get done. Anyway, here's what it looks like done.
Am now working on her quilt, got the top done, may take a break, we shall see. This is the last of the grandchildren, that range from 22 down to 10., and this one is for the ten year old. Will send another picture when it is finished as well. Her birthday is Christmas, but may send this early.
I thought I had this in here, but guess not. He's been after me all the time, wants all my quilts. He put dubs on these blocks and this is what he got.
Just finished the binding around it, which is white. Not the best picts. but here goes.
Another grandson and his quilt just about done. Will probably finish it by Friday and attach picts. Then I need to start working on ideas for VBS and maybe make the neighbor a quilt. My last quilt will be for my Christmas granddaughter that is the youngest of my four, so will have to come up with something special for her birthday and Christmas present. It took me so long to get into the mood to sew this winter and my machine has been acting up too. Oh well, next blog will have picture.
Finally finished what seems like I have been working on forever and my granddaughter turned 21 today. Won't be getting it into the mail for her until the snow stops and we can get down our mt. I know she will love it.
Well just finished this quilt up, by going around the dark blue block stars and stitched in the ditch around it. That was my first free hand on a queen quilt, thanks to a great teacher online. Wendy is her name on craftys. here's after pict.
