Your work is impeccable. Are you hand piecing or machine. I've added a video about the "Dear Jane" quilt so you can enjoy them. I've given you the first of three and you can follow the others through that link. I met Brenda Papadakis and she's delightful. I use the Dear Jane Software to make my patterns and it's been of great help. Hopefully we can keep communicating.
Hi "J"! thanks for "writing". All of my blocks are on my photbucket and on the board, I've posted up to my current block - D9 (WIP)
Thanks for the "impeccable". I have never hand pieced, but do a lot of freezer paper piecing the "Twiddletails" way and a lot of applique using lightweight Pelon on the back of the piece ala Sharon Schamber.
I check a lot of other web sites to see what others are doing, too. Unfortunately I've found a few "discrepancies" in Brenda's drawings from the original such as A1. The center is not a square pinwheel, but an octagon
and other such things as adding borders where there is none and leaving one off where there is. So she has done a marvelous job and inspired so many of us to begin this journey, but I do check others too!
I scan Brenda's diagrams from the book and, if necessary, print them onto freezer paper, then I write a Word document for each one describing my chosen method.
I'm always here and ready to correspond! Enjoy your day!
