I don't know the pattern but I like it. It would be easy enough to create that curvy square. Just cut a paper square the finished size then using something with a curve on it, such as a saucer, draw a curve from one corner diagonally to the other. Cut the paper along that line. Place both pieces of paper on a large piece of paper and trace then add a 1/4 inch seam allowance all the way around.
Looks like the dunkers path arranged with plain squares. Very interesting
