I am trying to find the person who blogged a while ago about the Clothesline Quilt she made from a VOGUE pattern # 1475. She provided a tutorial and pictures for it. It had 2 clotheslines on it with baby clothes and a little duck and a cloud. I made this about 33 years ago for my nephew and no longer have the pattern. I tried contacting VOGUE and they sent me a few websites to go to, to find old patterns without success. Would anyone have this pattern as it's a little difficult for me to re-create it from the picture. I wnat to make it for my daughter who is expecting.
Thanks for any help with this.

I remember the one you are talking about...I made it years ago for a baby...but I didn't buy the pattern..it was too expensive (even then). My memory isn't what it used to be, but I'll try to explain how I made it.
Take a piece of sky blue fabric for the background...cut out a sun and a cloud or 2 to be appliqued. Take a piece of double fold bias tape in either white or cream and lay across the fabric almost in a sideways "V" with a bit of a dip in the center. Either stitch a onesie down or cut out a baby shirt shape. Cut our a bib shape, booties, etc...these are hanging from the clothesline. Clothes pins I think I made just an oval of fabric folded in half...can't really remember that...but I'm sure you can figure something out.
Baby's name, weight and date of birth are embroidered on the clouds and anywhere else you want it .
    Hope this helps...
