Hello friends, fellow quilters, and fellow "grammies",

I now have a 6 week old grandson, (my first ) ) and have made him several quilts, helped decorate his room. etc. etc., but am now planning to make him an "I Spy" quilt to be used when he gets a little older, and starts to recognize pictures, colours, etc. I have a bunch of 5" squares collected, but want to find the "perfect" I Spy quilt pattern.

I know that you will have suggestions and I am just dying to hear them!! Bring them on! Thanks so much, C9P

I made one just put the blocks together, put a strip down the middle with the babies name - maybe if you post out in the main area of the board you will get more suggestions ?

Ive mad a couple with the eye spy fabrics cut into 6 and a half inch squares and used black to sash them, really makes the eye spy fabric show up. Google eye spy images and you will see heaps of ideas.

How do I post out in the main area? I'm still very confused with this website.

I really like this idea to make them pop. Mine are 5 inch squares, but I don't imagine that would matter.
