Sophie's corner

I'm very happy to introduce myself exposing my favorite quilt.
It's a baby quilt, I designed it for my violin teacher newborn daughter last year.
I wanted to quilt to have a cat and a violin because both of us like them so here it is, hoping you enjoy it as much as I loved making it.

It's hand quilted and I used a large batting because I wanted it to be puffy and cosy for the baby girl.

For the appliqué, I used my machine. I wanted to be sure the pieces were strongly fixed on the top since it would be used by a baby.
