Kept In Stitches

This is a portrait quilt that I made from taking a class but I can't remember the teacher's name at the moment. We used a picture and from that used a process that took seven layers of applique to complete the portrait. I love how it came out and it captures my Mother just as I think of her. The photo was actually taken on a visit to my home in MN and the three of us sisters and my granddaughter including our Mother all went out for some coffee together.
