I think this looks wonderful. What do you think?

The windows are 5 inch squares, the frames are 2 1/2 inches, the sashing in 2 inches , first border is 2 1/2 inches and the outside border is 3 1/2 inches (all measurement are cutting measurement).
    It measures 40 1/2 x 43 finished.

Machine appliqued these cute little owls onto a chenille tree for my daughter's sister-in-law's new baby. The "carved heart" on the tree contains the baby's name.

I see thepic is still a little too big but I can sort that out now I think. Pattern was something simple for me and the parents like something a little retro so it fitted their tastes well.

Here are my next four night owls. I am not 100% thrilled with

I have only finished one of the owls but I wanted to share it with you guys. I'm calling them Night Owls. I'm planning to make four of them in different body colors and put them together to make a small wall hanging.

I also had to share my oops! with you all.
