I am working on a quilt with 52 blocks, each with 4 half-square triangles and 4 hourglass blocks plus a plain square in the middle. All the hourglass blocks have four colors laid out the same in each block so I can't do the shortcut method but have to sew all the triangles separately. That's a lot of triangles!
I usually do a lot of chain-piecing but even that is taking a long time, so I'm doing some chain-piecing and then taking a break to make a few blocks. It's going to be wonderful
My mother has finally given up sewing (at 86) and would like me to sell her Bernina. It has many accessories, case, manual, etc. Any idea how much I should be asking? It must be 5-6 years old by now, maybe more.
