Here are some of the blocks I have been working on for Craftsy & My Tweets.
Threads sent me a box of homespun and I used some of it to make Keekee and Ling a new quilted pillow for their crate. They only use it to sleep in so I think it will be safe from their teeth and being torn apart LOL. Hubby thinks it came out great, I told him thanks. I used left over backing and added the strips then cut and stitched and added batting to make it nice and soft. So a big thank you goes out to my dear friend Threads ....
Well my hubby knows that nothing will stop me from my sewing and quilting so he designed a tattoo just for me. Last night I went and got it done. It's a bit on the red side as this was taken only 2 hrs after I had it done. It is on my left shoulder backside LOL. I also have already picked out the next one for my right side. I want to get them before we start riding this summer.

I have been very busy making quilts for family and their friends, but finely got to do one that hubby designed for me. Today I finished the top and now have to figure out if I want to hand quilt it or quilt it on Kimba (my quilting machine). I did change it up a bit from his design but mostly by using different colors then what he had on the list. I may still add a boarder to make it a big larger for the queen size bed right now it is around 72x98. I have time to decide as I have some baby quilts ...
I did it I now have the binding finished on my blazing star and am ready to start quilting my gs quilt top, and with the new book hubby got me for Christmas I know it will look great. I got so many nice things for Christmas to help me get my fun done faster, a steam press, new tools and a great book on Continuous-lines for hand, machine & long arm quilting. Plus new thimbles to try out and a whole box of Thimble-Its, so no more sore fingers for me. They are just in time as one ...
Today was a good day I finished Stephens quilt top, I will wait until after Christmas to quilt it. Now I can finish the binding on my Blazing Stars quilt in the mean time. After the new year I will start on a quilt that my Hubby designed for me and have to shop for the fabrics, yahoo fabric shopping.
I finely finished the Double Wedding Ring, I got it quilted a couple of days ago and was worried it would not come out good as there were a few puckers when I put the top together. Mary and I figured out that we may have had too many layers of fabric running through the Studio when we cut the pieces for the dwr's. After a few hours of quilting I was getting happer with the resualts. Now that it has the binding and is done I am very happy it turned out lots better then I thought it would. I was ...
Well it may be small but I know where everything is and my quilting frame will be set up in the living room this evening after dinner. I finished my ggd's quilt top and have it on one of my hand quilting frames and got started on one block last night. I decided to hand quilt it as she is the first gg child. Let me know what you think of my set up for my sewing room and the top.
