• I'm happy again...
  
  Yesterday I finally received my #10 John James needles. They were strong. I like them, although #10 did seem a little large. I may try #11 next time. Perhaps I will give Roxanne's a try.
  
  The leather thimble was great, except it will be something I'll have to get used to since I quilt with my index finger. I can see where it would work better on the third finger. I did try that, with a finger cot on my index finger and a leather dot on my thumb--worked pretty well, although I'm not used to doing it that way. The leather thimble is a lot more comfortable--that's for sure.
