In many ways, quilts are like puzzles...

Discernment is like a puzzle. There are some pieces with straight edges that define the boundary of the process. There are some pieces that are immediately recognizable by their color, shape, or design. Those pieces begin to form the vision of the bigger picture. Then, there are the mystery pieces that take time and contemplation and, perhaps, invite the thoughts and expertise of others who are interested in your journey. Yet the Creator of the puzzle is the only One who knows the joy you will discover as the picture materializes, becoming more what the Creator intended. CLM 2009
