Hi! Thanks for visiting this page, which contains pictures of various implementations of common quilt designs. Hopefully, these examples will help you envision the many ways that a single design can look; different fabrics and different layouts can make 2 quilts look drastically different, even when they share the same base design.

For each common design, a separate page contains pictures of members' versions of the quilt. These pictures come from existing posts on the Board. Click on the link below for the design that you're interested in, and then just scroll through the photos. No more clicking required! For acknowledgement and reference, the original poster's user name is included with each photo. A click on the name takes you to that user's profile.

If you have a design to suggest for inclusion in this project, drop me a PM. For the design pages already in place below, send me a PM if you know of another example that you'd like me to consider adding; be sure to include a link to the topic that has the picture. To include the link in a PM: find the topic ... if it's a topic that you created, you might find it by looking at "My Topics". Right-click on the topic title, and then click again where it says "copy link" (or something like that ... depends on what browser you're using.) Then open up a PM to me, and use "ctrl-v" or paste to copy the link into the PM.

While it is not difficult to add new pictures to these collections, it is a manual process and is not "automagic". So, the site will grow as I have time to search the Board and update these pages.

For the time being, I have decided not to try to include a page for scrappy quilts for applique quilts, as I don't see them as quilt "designs", and there are SO MANY!
