I desperately need help. I am quilting a t-shirt quilt for a customer and when I start quilting in the t-shirt fabric area my stitches will get very long and then the thread will break break. I've retimed my machine, cleaned it, changed both the needle and thread and adjusted the tension. I'm at a lost as to fixing this problem and what makes it worse is I has to be done before Christmas which means I'm starting to panic. This machine is an APQS Ultimate ll, no stitch regulator.
Does anyone have any suggestions for getting chalk lines out of fabric? It's regular chalk board chalk. I tried the air pen, but it wasn't dark enough to see. I've used this chalk before without any problems. I've washed it and even tried dawn dish liquid and now the fabric starting to get a light spot in it, like it's fading. The problem is, this isn't my quilt. HELP.
Does anyone know if the Ultimate ll has a stitch regulator available for it or not?
