Quilting Question!

I finished my sherbet multi color quilt top, I plan on machine quilting, mostly stitching in the ditch around squares. I don't know what color thread to use. I had an off white attached for backing. If I use off white it will look less than good (I think) but will be better for the back, if I use one color that matches most of the quilt top, it will look lousy on the back. Should I use off white in the bobbin, and color on top? Should I use one color to quilt the entire top? I have always used an off white, but these colors are more saturated than before. I appreciate any advice from my friends here.

love the quilt! How about using off white in the bobbin and monopoly on the top? Or see if you can find a variegated thread in colors that will work on top.

Using all off white thread and it is looking okay, I don't have any varigated thread, although, when I get to the store I want to buy some and try it out for future reference. That is a great idea. I looked at the varigated thread before, and I couldn't find one that had the colors I had in my quilt, how does that turn out, do all the colors need to match the quilt?
