I am so glad to have a quiet house again. I was supposed to have this last weekend without any grands but due to my SIL's dad passing away I ended up with Zach for 4 days instead.
I love him dearly but he talks nonstop. He replays all his favorite episodes of Wiggles or other shows by repeating all the lines of each show with all the inflexions and physical actions. Lots of jumping and lots of loud sounds! LOL He is a love and funny and always sweet but he is also LOUD! lol
Boy is it HOT! and it's only the first of April! I can not believe the weather this year! I'm not much of an outdoor person anymore. Used to love to go fishing but we just don't go much. DH can't handle rough ground much and so we are limited on areas he can navigate. I am just such a wimp anymore. I'd rather be inside where it is nice and cool and I always have tons of stuff to do.
I do enjoy going outside with the grands as long as it isn't too hot or too cold. I'm so not into
My SIL's dad died this afternoon. When Ben married my DD Sara his parents became a part of our family too. They were always a part of our holiday get togethers and we ate at their house off and on and had them here for a meal. They are my extended family in every sense of the word.
Ben's dad Cleo had a triple bypass in 1993 and came through it fine. over time he had developed lung problems from working in an ammunitions plant and breathing in all the chemicals. So he has been
If you read this I hope you will spread the word. We need more players in my April Quilt Block Swap!!
You make only one 12 1/2" quilt block and exchange with a partner. The only condition is you have to use one of my quilt block designs. There are loads of them available.
They aren't hard to make! I have shortcut methods that make the intricate looking quilt blocks easy to make!!
So if you are interested or know someone who would like to play along
Daymon is the blonde twin and he is the one that fell off his bike and had to stay in the hospital over night recently. As you can see he is just fine again. You can see his pic in the post below this one.
the boys will be 9 this next November. I can't believe how fast time flies and how much they grow up over night!
My mom has been working on an autobiography of her life for her grands and great grands. Devon the dark haired twin asked her if she would write down
Colton and his big brothers Daymon and Devon came to stay with Grandma Rhonda and Papa this weekend. Cousin Rachel came too.
Colton has been bopping around here having fun! He had a good time outside yesterday too but he tried to outrun Grandma! LOL Not a pretty sight to see Grandma run!!
He's 15 mos now and climbing on and off things. Which is a stage I don't really like. We have a concrete floor and I constantly worry that they will fall and hit their heads until they
Here are the hotpads I just made last week. I used to make about a dozen of them every 2 to 3 weeks for the local gift shop. But she closed so now I make them for friends and need to make some for my online store.

These Are What Make Me
Well we have now put 600 miles on our new van so I guess I am getting used to it! LOL It has a running board that hits my shin every time I get in or out of it. It is so annoying! The last van I kept hitting my head on the door frame and this one gets my leg! If I remember to step over getting in I do ok and I have figured out if I scoot forward and put my rt foot on the running board I can get over the running board without hitting my leg but I forget more often than not! Grrrr
My DGS Daymon is 8 and loves to ride his bike. But yesterday he caught the guide wire on a pole in their yard and it flipped him into the grass hitting his head. He limped into the house and while his mom was cleaning the scratches on his hand he was asking What Happened? How did those scratches get there? He was very vague and not quite sure what was going on. So they took him to the hospital and they kept him overnight for observation. He was still vague and unsure of where he was etc on the
