Things have been crazy busy for me as I'm sure the same holds true for all of you. I wanted to take the time to wish all of you a Merry Christmas and a safe/happy New Year.
My goal after the chaos is over is to start working on my UFOs, determined to complete one before going to the next. If I had had this frame of thought from the start, I wouldn't have so many now. These projects range from a quilt, latch hook, crochet, plastic canvas. As I ponder on this, I am having visions

I will not even begin to say that I am savvy on how much a quilt is worth nor knowledgeable on a lot of topics in the quilting world. I do know how time consuming a CW is to do completely by hand. With this being said, I was searching on eBay, Etsy and the such just out of curiosity. I wanted to see how much a CW was going for and actually selling for. My mouth dropped when I seen large CW quilts being sold for as low as $25 - $55. I guarantee either they didn't make them so that price suits

We are multifunctional people but have a need to be neat and tidy. This has become a problem. I'm not sure where to even begin to explain the situation. Problem: my husband and I do not like living in separate parts of the house. He is a Xbox360 gamer/computer geek and I am a crafter/quilter. Needless to say, we both need space but without the clutter. He currently has 2 large monitors and getting a third. For me, if I work on anything, it's drag it all out, work a few minutes, put it all

Does anyone want to do these menus & grocery list for me…. Just not feeling good at all today but this has to get done. Gotta get groceries tomorrow. Will be nonstop for the entire month of Dec. Yep, I'm stressing already and haven't even started. As organized as I try to stay, it doesn't help much. I am known as the walking calendar. If it's not on my to do list or my calendar, it doesn't exist. I think the list is a mile long and the calendar is jam packed EVERY day.
I have been asked by several for updated progress pics. So here you go. The pic with the 4 units together is my intended layout. It will be blue print units broken up with cream muslin like the background. The 6 units lengthwise with my sidekick is my current progress (108"x18").

I hope everyone has had a fabulous Thanksgiving! I seemed to have had one kitchen mishap after another (so unlike me). I even had a pie coming fresh out of the oven on the way to the cooling racks go SPLAT. This was after I had gotten the filling all in my hair and on my clothes as I was mixing it. All I could do was laugh it off and make another one. Then I spilt raisins EVERYWHERE! To end the night, I spilt hot candied yams/ the juice all in my refrigerator and on me. For someone who loves
As many may know, I am working on a CW (King). I honestly admit being it is so slow moving (doing completely by hand), I tend to lose my motivation. Most may stop and work on something else when this happens. Me, well.. I suppose I'm a bit OCD. I do have a few non-quilt related projects in my UFO closet. In the back of my mind, I'm like, "I so need to get these done before I move on to something new." Today, my plan is to have a fold/iron marathon for this CW. I'm hoping to get

I'm sure I'm not the only one that has the thought every year, "I'm going to be on top of things next year. I will make gifts throughout the year." The holiday season has popped up out of no where. I don't have the first gift made.
I have been pondering the thought of using some of my scrap muslin to make some cathedral window Christmas ornaments. The only thing is, I would prefer white and my current stash is cream colored. I figure being that I am working on a quilt

I feel like it's Christmas already. The new washer & dryer arrived this evening!
I normally am not one to gloat or what have you, but I just had to share! I
have a large family which means lots of laundry. My old set has been on the
fritz for months. Repairman had been out here literally 8 times. He practically had rebuilt my washer, but yet it still wasn't fixed. I was just about beyond
patience level by that point.
Upon closer inspection, I

Hubby got me Quilt Pro! WhooHoo! Although I have never worked with
quilting software or even paint, I am so excited to give it a whirl! I use a mac so the other software EQ, I think it's called, is not compatible unless I install
Parallels. Then I can run both operating systems. Now my creativity can run wild without buying any fabric yet, lol. I know so many who work on multiple
projects at once, but I'm really wanting to finish one quilt before starting
