If you travel to quilting classes or retreats, you have probably run into the problem of being ready to pack up and leave and your iron is still hot. I recently finished this fast, fun, cute project that solves that problem!
It's called a Caddy Pad Ironing Caddy, and it's lined with heat resistant fabric. There is also a layer of insulated batting in it, and when you unfold it it lays flat so you can use it as a pressing surface! It really didn't take long to make and I think it would make a nice gift for quilty friends!
