Walking Foot

I have a Viking machine and I attached the walking foot, but when using it with my fabric the thread keeps breaking. Anybody know what is causing this thread break? I have used this foot before so I know that it works. It's been a while since I used it and I don't have the packaging information. I have re-thread the machine many times.

    I know this is going to sound silly but i can't tell you how many times I have had problems w/ thread breakage, then I completely rethreaded the machine and wala-problem solved-sounds like its either to tight tension wise or getting caught somewhere. Are you using different thread?

    I was going to say exactly the same thing! Almost every time I have trouble with my machine, whether it's the tension, thread breakage, or making funny noises, it seems to dissapear like magic when I rethread the machine!

    Sometimes we forget to change the needle. If after rethreading, changing the needle, working with the tension and it still breaks, try another thread. It could be a bad spool. It has happened to me.
