To keep from getting wrinkles in your back you have to make sure your back is squared up. Each piece of fabric that is sewn together has to be squared before you sew them together. It is well worth the time it takes to do this

always had same problem. Im fairly new to quilting so just fought through it until now. on the last quilt i made i used elmers glue instead of pinning. amazing, my quilt was wrinkle free and so much easier to quilt without the pins.

I have had the same problem. I am now using spray quilt basting and am having better results.
