Hello. I have been looking for the quilt pattern "long & winding road" (bargello) that was in the January 2004 the Quilter Magazine. If any of you have the pattern or magazine, I would be happy to buy it from you. Thank you for your kind assistance with this matter.
  2. Making My First Quilt

Hello everyone! I'm new to quilting and wanted to share my very first project with you. I spend one week with Judy Niemeyer learning how to quilt.

Let me know what you think and what a good project would be for my second quilt!

I'd love to hear your experiences with template paper piecing. Like I said, I've done it only this one time and there were so many rules and techniques I tried to memorize. Let me know if you have any tips to share! Thanks and I'm excited ...

  3. Hundreds of old neckties... Are they any good for small quilts? for men?

    by , 03-16-2014 at 06:39 PM
These ties are amazing! Made of silk, wool, acetate, cotton, polyester, even knits.. These might be useful for quilts, right? A friend makes quilts for the homeless, so I'll ask her if she wants them after they're washed.. The grubbiest ones will be tossed into File 13...

A few have famous names on them, but I don't expect they're worth anything now..

    Suggestions?
  4. My "Free Block of the Week" posted on the Quilting Board

I like to design quilts over the weekend using EQ7. I cannot say enough about this great software. I want people to see what is possible, and how easy using EQ7 is. I post a new, free quilt block each week and a picture of a suggested setting. This one is super simple. It is basic paper piecing. Just follow the numbers and you are set. Enjoyl
