Hello I have a question that I've been searching for, for a long time.
I have a White Model 575 Sewing Machine its blue I was told that its a 1941. The machine is blue in color has one stitch nothing extra and is a heavy duty machine. Its beautiful unique and from what I gather rare.
My question is if anyone might know any history on this special little machine how many made, etc. I know that it was made by White and made in Japan.
Thank you for your help.
My mother has finally given up sewing (at 86) and would like me to sell her Bernina. It has many accessories, case, manual, etc. Any idea how much I should be asking? It must be 5-6 years old by now, maybe more.
I just found this video on YouTube, which I feel can be VERY helpful to anyone buying a new sewing machine.
He shows why you shouldn't buy a "big box store" machine. I just felt it may help save some heartaches and wallet woes.
My son is looking for a sewing machine to hem jeans and sew other heavy duty materials. Does anyone have a recommendation?
This Board is so awesome regarding anything and everything, thought I would ask. Thank you.
Does anybody know anything about this type of machine?
