In 2012 the Quilt Show and Conference is in Rochester MN from June 14 to 16, 2012. Classes begin June 13.
The Quilt show features: almost 700 quilts entered, exhibits of special collections, challenge quilts, over 40 classes varying from 1/2 day to 2 days with nationally known teachers from all over the US, Lectures each day, Raffle Quilt, Small Quilt Auction, Meet the Teachers, Sneak Preview, daily lunch buffet, Fat Quarter Stroll, the Awards Banquet and vendors, vendors, vendors!

Teachers for 2012 are JoAnn Belling, Debbie Caffrey, Darlene Christopherson, Susan Cleveland, Kathy Delaney, Pam Dinndorf, Ann Fahl, Chris Hoover, Page Johnson, Debby Kratovil, Laura Murray, Maxine Rosenthal, Jane Sassaman, Sally Schneider, Lucy Senstad, Barbara Shapel, Pat Speth, and Darlene Zimmerman.

The show is definitely a blast! Three days of everything quilting!

The mission of Minnesota Quilters, Inc. is to further the preservation of quilting, to educate, and to document the art and craft of quilting in Minnesota. Est. 1978
MQ is a guild of over 700 members serving the State of Minnesota. We meet twice monthly in Minneapolis, the first Thursday of the month in the evening at 7 pm and the following Saturday morning at 10 am. We usually have a speaker for our program, news about MQ, Show n' Tell, Treats and Coffee. In June we do not meet because we have our annual Quilt Show and Conference. The show is in a different city each year to support the all the Quilters in the state of Minnesota.
