Blackgum Harvestime Church Sewing Sisters will host their 5th Annual Quilts of Past & Present Quilt Show. The church is located 8 miles North of Vian, Oklahoma on State Highway 82. From I-40 take the Vian/Tahlequah Exit 297. The show will feature approximately 100 entries, a vendor mall, vintage exhibit, boutique, lunch and home-made desserst available in our tea room. National Award winning quilt designer and teacher, Betty New, of Naples, Florida will offer classes both days. Pre-registration of classes is required by July 8. Quilt entries are welcome. The Lowell Pine Needlers put on this annual show in the Lowell Grange Hall in Lowell, Oregon. This year will be the 9th annual. Each year we make a raffle quilt and all the proceeds to towards the community of Lowell. Last year we donated to the Lowell Food Pantry, Firehall, Library, Schools, and Blackberry Jam Festival.
