Default **travel iron tote/caddy pad pattern

Has anyone made one of these? If so was it hard? I want to make one, but can't find a pattern here locally and don't want to pay shipping. I was going to try to wing it.

Have you seen the octagonal table toppers in Nancy's Notions? Seems very similar. You could probably figure it out by 6" squares and triangles. Take a look at the pic in NN.

Hi where did you find the site for the caddy pad pattern. I am trying to download a free pattern if there is one. I travel to classes and this caddy would work great for my little hot iron. thanks for you help ricketr
