Love this---sums up my mottos exactly.
But I must say that I had a friend (passed last year) that made the most WONDERFUL fruit cakes. She made them in glass jars. They were so moist and delicious! I never liked fruit cake until I tasted hers. Mass produced, aged and dried for 3 years, cardboard tasting ones are to be avoided but I'd love to have one of Pat's again.
