Just curious as to how you are giving them as gifts. Hope it's okay to ask. I have seen a pillowcase given with a coordinating book. Are you giving sheets with them? Do they match existing bed quilts?

I wanted to make one for my nephew for christmas and wasn't sure what fabric to use or how to make it as a gift.

BTW, the pillowcases came out great.

I also saw your question about the third one. it looks nice but maybe a little more contrasting middle (piping) fabric would be even better like a medium brown? Love the horse fabric

The pink one I will give a book with it and the horse one will have a toy car with it. They all have sheets and I thought to have their very own pillowcase would be neat. I used cotton fabric .
After seeing the picture on here I will use a medium brown for piping. Thank you very much for looking.
I bought the horses at Walmart. They really have a nice selection of fabric now.
