Seems the quake was stronger heading North than it was West or South.

We felt it here too. Couldn't figure out what was happening at first! Of course we're getting ready for Irene this weekend so can't spend too much time on earthquakes :)

The girl next to me felt it here in PA but she was sitting and I was walking toward her. I didnt feel a thing. She knew right away and then shortly after the news came on and confirmed it. A water main broke in philly and a building came down in camden plus some windows in some of the buildings broke. Lots of buildings evacuated. People standing out on the streets.

Felt it here in Maryland. I was at work and felt the rumble under my feet like a big heavy truck had driven by. But when the cubicles started moving, I knew what it was. Funny....the men bolted out of the building and the women stood around and talked.
