Default 809 Decorbond

I can't get it to stick to my fabric. It has a shiney side to it so it isn't bad I have put it on the wool setting like the pattern called for with and with out steam. Just isn't working.

Is the fabric cotton? I have found I have to wash the cotton fabric for the décor bond to stick well.

I know what you mean. Just finished a project with Décor Bond. I used high heat putting parchment paper down first, then fabric wrong side, then décor bond shiny side down. Next I put a damp pressing cloth and used iron with highest heat and steam. Slowly pressing from center out. Even after all that, during the project the décor bond was not attached. It required continual ironing. Not my favorite material to work with. Thinking it might require quilting to keep it attached. In all honesty, I do not prewash and as stated above, that may be my problem.
