Default American Patchwork & Quilting Magazine

If any of you buy this magazine, the February 2012 issue has two different covers. Posting a picture of both of the front covers. I ended buying both because of the different covers. Then when I get home I discover I already had the issue just with a different cover. I hate it when a magazine does this.

Don't you just hate that? I've been caught out like that also. Very annoying.

I have a subscription and got the one on the right....at the store I would have been drawn to the one on the left. Me thinks they are trying too hard to appeal to the traditionalists and the modern quilters....

I have a subscription too and I got the one on the left. I discovered by accident that they did this in the October '11 issue too.

I would be very annoyed also. I've bought the same magazine twice too but I had no excuse. It had the same cover I just didn't check close enough. I brought both magazines back to Walmart with my receipt and had no trouble returning one. Sure felt stupid though but I wasn't going to waste the money.

I have done that myself. What get's to me is when I use a card from one I just bought to subscribe and the first one they send me is the one I bought.

I've done that with books before when they come out later with a different cover.

makes me glad that I don't do magazines anymore I have stacks from years past and find so many of these new patterns are just tweaked from old patterns and if I do want a new pattern there are lots on the internet
