I went to a sale today and I bought a monstrous box of zippers for very little. If you need zippers let me know I will be happy to send you some.

Have you seen embellishments made of zippers? We had a speaker at guild once who used them and it was spectacular. Sure wish I could remember who it was, and I did not have my camera and did NOT take a picture! Maybe someone on this board has some examples!? :?

Shemjo-don't tell me that, I just sold probably 150 zippers in my yard sale. I just didn't have the room and since I don't sew as many clothes as I used too, I decided to yard sale them, I did keep the 7" and 9" ones for maybe purses or something.

Once, many eons ago, I made a quiet book and used a zipper for the teeth on a crocodile. The book was mostly tactile, things to touch/feel.

Zippers are great for any kind of purse -- and the wilder the color the better!
