Smile Another cute quote from a pint sized fellow

Just had to share this -

Yesterday i was in a shop at a festival and darling little fellow was trying on a mask. He very obviously wanted it quite badly. The clincher was when he said "Dad, I can carry it on my face." Apparently he and his sister had been handing off purchases to the parents and had been told they weren't going to carry anything else for them. And yes, he got the mask.

Come on, let's share other cute things you've overheard recently...

My grandson just turned 1 and talks in complete sentences...only thing is they are in baby talk and you can't understand a word he says! The other day they were over at the house and his toys are stored in a plastic tub under the end table. He walks to the tub, puts 1 hand on it and 1 hand to it and mumbled a whole baby talk sentence while looking directly at his momma. It was plain to see he was asking for permission to get into the box (she had spent the day cleaning). She automatically told him it was ok to get his toys and he proceeded to pull the box out and play. We couldn't understand 1 word of what he said but he just KNEW we did!

I was in the backyard just about a couple of hours ago with my four year old grandson. My daughter had bought him one of those baseball tees. He wanted me to hit it and I did, actually a lot harder than I intended. He said "Nice try Grandma!" They are too cute!

My 2yr old GD was told her dad was going to put up her own little swing when he got home from work today and as soon as she saw him come in the door she said, "Daddy, let's go put up my teeny weeny tiny swing NOW!!!"

I was watching my granddaughter at her house the other day. When mom came home she came over and hugged my leg and told me that I could come back and play her another day.

Awwwwwwwwwww... I can't wait to have grandbabies! Well, since I don't, I'll tell you something cute I said as a child (that doesn't sound too vain, does it? LOL!). I wanted my Mother to buy me something (a toy of some sort... I think it was a troll) & I said to her "But it only costs one check"! Hey, maybe I could try that line on DH!

When my 39 yr old son was just a few years old we were stopping to fill the car with gas. There were still stations that filled the tank for you but were quite often a penny more per gallon. I told him we were going to that station and have them fill it for the penny. After it was filled and I started to leave, he said " Mom, you didn't give him his penny."

When my sons were about 6 and 7 or so, we were sitting at the dinner table and the older one said, "Mom, when's your birthday?" The younger one immediately piped in with, "Duh, it's the day she was born!" Kids are so funny - without even knowing it! He couldn't figure out why his answer cracked us up!! Another time, about the same ages, the younger one was mad at his brother who had locked him out of his room and was ignoring him. He slipped a very miss-spelled note under the door that said, "big whoppy do to you!"

When I was a young child we were traveling from California to Minnesota. We had to stop for a border inspection. We had to open our camper as we were carrying oranges and they needed to inspect them. My youngest brother asked my mom "Why can't we bring oranges into another state?" and she explained about the insects. When the border patrol came back to the car my brother said to him "How to the insects know where the border is?" He just looked at him a walked away.
