    I use very narrow strips of Stitch-Witchery to hold down the edges of labels while I hand sew them on. No pins! I'll have to give good old Elmer's a try, too. :-)

    Is there a name for this stuff? I will use the elmers glue for many patches I need for DH, not sure how/what he does to need so many patches, some are burns from his nastyettes (smokes) battery acid or who knows.

    Default Well, it's not quilt related, but it's another use for Elmer's glue...

    It used to take him an hour to get ready for school....

    I use some of the stick glue to hold the hexiesl on my grandmother's flower garden templates until I can get all the corners sewed together. Otherwise sometimes the fabric slips to one side and I don't have enough seam allowance on the last sewn sides. I can remove the template quite easily. I cut my hexies on my Go! Cutter.
