I Was in their fabric department today and noticed that they are taking out all the June Taylor products and replacing them with Fiskars brand. I really like the June Taylor items but Fiskars seems to priced cheaper and a better selection. Also there was a lot of fabric on clearance, only about a buck off the original prices but a discount is a discount.

Just did a quick search on June Taylor products, some interesting project sheets available on their site.

I was in a LQS and admired their Fiskar cutting/ruler. Which they discontinued making. The owner said that WalMart was putting fabric back in their stores and since they carry Fiskar they might start making them again for WalMart. She said that WalMart said that was the greatest marketing mistake they had made. Lets hope it is true, since our local one only carries prepackaged stuff.

Ours never lost it. They just down sized it but for the last 6 months it has been exploding with fabric stuffed everywhere. The notions were very limited but it looks it will have much more now.

We don't have a scrap of fabric, and very little yarn. I SO hope the fabric comes back.

There are 2 Walmarts near me. One never had fabric and still no sign of any coming in. The other had kept some fabric and now has completely done away with it. I had heard all Walmarts were bringing it back but mine seem to be going in the opposite direction.

The last couple weeks when I shopped at WalMart, I noticed
a lot of their packaged fabric was 50% off. Today..still is
50% off, but the walls are at least half bare and it looks
like a disaster area, things are tossed here and there.
I did buy a new pressing pad (that's what I call them) I
have had mine for so many years. It was only about 30% offbut when I went through the checkout, when the checker
saw I had a sewing item, volunteered the info that they were
getting their fabric back, and then said, I hope it's priced
so people can afford to buy it. I kinda figured out what
was happening when I saw the discounted prices...this board
had already let me know.
