I watched it and didn't like it, then I got hooked on the story line. It's not like me to like shows like this but it keeps getting more interesting.

I started reading the books. They are much better and not R rated as the shows.

Yes, love the books and the show although they're really different. I only wish we didn't have to wait SO VERY LONG to see the new season, it will be next January before they arrive over here. Meanwhile I am very thankful for the internet and the wonderful people who post the episode recaps!

Oh, I never read the books, wonder if my library has them!
They are kind of a bit raunchy, lol, lots of naughty scences. I told Robs Mom not to have the grandkids around while watching, lol!

We just started watching them on NetFlex. The bad part is each disk is only 2 maybe 3 episodes so they leave you always wanting more and having to wait 2 or 3 days!

I've watched a couple when my DH is here. I think they're a little creepy. There is certainly a lot of that genre of shows on tv right now. My favorite show when I was in high school was Dark Shadows, the old soap opera. I rushed home from school so I wouldn't miss it.

I remember Barnabus Collins and Dark shawdows. It used to scare me to death. NOw look what we have. I don't watch the show because it is on HBO and I hate to pay for movie channels. But I have seen it and like vampire and werewolf movies from way back. I like the twilight series.
