My grown daughter is going as poison ivy from the Batman movie, I did not make the costume , if I had there would have been a "oh dear" i. She found a regular seamstress to do it.if I could post from her email I would! It's quite impressive!

I don't sew clothes, but my mom made Peter Pan and Tinkerbell this year for my two grandbabies

I made a Dorothy for my great niece and the Cowardly Lion for her little brother. Haven't made costumes since my kids were little - 20 years ago!

Wow, Quiltmom, that dress is so pretty. Looks like Church to me. Perfect.

I made a lady bug costume for my granddaughter when she was 2 --it had a foam shell with red dots and a hat with feelers. She wore black tights and a black shirt - she was so cute. Another year she was a princess with a long burgandy satin skirt and vest with an overlay of gold netting -- she wore that one everywhere until it wore out. My grandsons have been cowboys. Then it got to be impossible to do all the costumes and work full time too. Now we paint pumpkins!

Default My grand babies came over to try on costumes!

Here is the growly bear (she growls a lot!) and the little old lady (her wig is now gray with a bun). They both liked wearing them!
