so I go to joann's I need backing fabric for a lap quilt!!! and as I was walking in the store I'm telling myself just get what you need and out,I came home with batting and not the backing I needed,WHAT was I thinking???? I don't need batting. ugh! wheres my brain????so another trip tomorrow.....
You sound like me. I go to the store for one thing and come out with a cart full but have not bought what I went for.
Of all the things I have lost or misplaced, I miss my mind the most.
When ever I have my grandkids, my mind always runs far, far away!LOL!! For example, I let my DGD hold my purse at the mall yesterday. Lexie sat it down and forgot to pick it back up. I didn't realize it until about 10 minutes later.Thankfully it was still sitting in the chair at the nail salon where she left it. I think my mind permanently left me because normally I would never let DGD hold or carry my purse.

My mind and yours is most likely on a retreat somewhere fun, since we can't seem to get away...I wanna go with them, scratch that I NEED BADLY to go with them, LOL

I feel that way too. I always forget unless I have my list. If I go upstairs for two items, I will come down with one and have to return for the other. I got distracted by something while up there.
