that they lose touch with and then you find them years later and seeing them (or talking to them thru a computer) just makes you cry? I found my best friend from growing up and she is doing so good and such great things for God. I miss her so much. I sent her a message and i'm still crying :(

my dearest friend has been my dearest friend for 63 years; for for 55 years, we have seen each other infrequently as we lived our lives, but each time we meet, it's as though we last saw each other yesterday; often it's 8 - 10 years between visits.

Yep! And it is wonderful. But....computers can also allow you to be found by someone that you prefer to not be found by. LOL I am so happy for you & your friend!

That's wonderful that you found an old friend. I would love to find a couple of mine that I have lost touch with!

I recently made contact with my best friend from high school, she was my maid of honor and also godmother to my 2nd son. When we moved to NJ we lost contact. Though emails we have been catching up with the last 50 years of our lives, unfortunately hers hasn't gone as well as mine and she recently had to move from NY to Georgia to live with her DD. Oh, yes! About a year ago I found a good friend from way back. We had been close through our teens and twenties and then lost contact when I moved to Florida. Our daughters found each other on facebook. I eventually moved back to Mass. and now, after nearly 30 years we are so happy to have each other again. We get together almost weekly.
