We are thinking of changing our phone service. Hubby is envious of the guys that have the smart phones and he is a gadget man and likes his gadgets - that and the guys he has lunch with all text to plan lunch and he keeps missing out...

I've been seeing a boatload of commercials lately for Virgin Mobil. They must be pushing hard in to our area and I'm caving in. For the same cost as what we are paying for our friends & family plan, we would be getting a so much more - unlimited web, data, texts, etc and a good number of talk minutes.

I live in Huntsville, AL - and our coverage map looks pretty good and it's powered by Sprint so it looks like it would be a winner. We're going to Disney this October and I think it would be great to have with us to keep the kids happy while waiting in line.. they could play games on the phones and whatnot :)

Anyone have Virgin Mobil?
I'm considering the LG Rumor Touch since it has a bigger screen - or maybe the Kyocera Loft?

I had Virgin Mobile for some time, then suddenly I kept paying but no minutes were adding up. I switched to Track or Trak phone. My husband has had it for years. I don't need to text or search the web and such. I bought an inexpensive phone 25.00 and get double minutes each time I add (every three months) I have more minutes than I will ever use!

If you get Virgin Mobile, just be real careful which plan you get and the difference between their "adding time" and adding "minutes". Don't ask me, I couldn't figure it out.

Thanks for the tip ;)
I will make sure we get that all worked out. I'm leaning towards giving it a try - we could always go back to AT&T I suppose - or even overlap the service if need be...
