Last night I dreamed of being at work ('been retired for 3 years).
I was very busy and struggling with a pair of pants that were at least a foot too long. I kept thinking I had to get home and get them hemmed. In my sleep, I kept walking on them and knew they were getting dirty so I tried to tiptoe to keep off them. I woke up with a Charlie Horse (cramp) in each leg.

If I had that dream, it would be a nightmare
Even though I loved my job, I love retirement more.

I Quit smoking over 25 years ago. YEAH!!!!
I don't miss it AT ALL!
Occasionally, I dream that I am lighting cigarettes, all night long.
I wake up with a severe headache. It really is a nightmare!
I have no idea what it means. LOL
Blessings

I'd be willing to guess the dream was a reaction to leg cramps. In your REM state, your brain was making up an excuse to provide a meaning to the pain. If you think about it, the location may make sense - was your old job "a pain"?

The folks in chat can tell you about my strange dreams.

Last night I dreamed my daughter and I were in a flood and one of her three dogs went missing. I was upset because she didn't seem to care. Mind you, she only has two dogs and the one that went missing was a puppy she doesn't have. What's that all about?

Oh, and I just thought of a funny dream my other daughter had. She said all night she kept dreaming there was this big bug in the house and she couldn't get it out. Her conclusion: Maybe it's about my mother-in-law who is staying with me. LOL

I dreamed last night about being attached by a bear, I think that came from watching the news about that man that survived a bear attach in Washington State. It was scary!

Does anyone have happy dreams? I don't remember ever having a happy dream. There is always some aggravation or frustration, much like everyone has said so far. Now what's THAT about!?

Since I got my machine I rarely dream anymore at all. I used to talk all night long, but I don't do that anymore either.

hehe - had a dream the other night. I was in the embrace of the most gorgeous man (not my hubby). He was tall, full head of thick salt and pepper hair, blue eyes you could swim in, broad shoulders, good hugger. Darn if I didn't wake up to make a potty run. I went with my eyes closed so I wouldn't totally wake up. I hurried back to bed to find out what happened next in my dream but he was gone. Darn.
