Well wouldn't you know it....today is my DGD's birthday party and I feel like I've been run over by a mac truck. I didn't sleep well last night because everything hurts.....Today...same song, second verse.
I am going to find out how good I am at acting....I am going to be there and "enjoy" every minute of it!(even if it feels like it will kill me)
Then I'll come home and crash and burn......Those of you with fibro know what I mean.....
Wish me luck! :|

I wish you luck and hope your flare up doesn't last too long. I get a flare up now and again and it really hurts. I don't think I have fibro that bad, but it still gets me. Maybe with your mind on the party and having fun, the pain will go into the background. Be good to yourself, and do the things you need to do to get better! HUGS ( but not too tightly)!

Oh wow... I hear you! It is so hard to put on a cheerful face when you feel so horrible. What is amazing is that nobody will know that you are dying inside. That is the main problem with fibro...everyone thinks you are normal and can't see the pain.

I'm in the middle of a flare too. My kids are driving me nuts. I can't stop crying, my blood sugar is up, can barely walk. Yesterday my DD was invited to a birthday party an hour drive away. That means FOUR hours in the car. Driving her up, coming home, going to pick her up and driving home. And of course I have to put a smile on my face and take my DD shopping for gym clothes today. I just want to lay in bed and sleep.

I hope you get some rest after you get home and feel nice and refreshed tomorrow.

I'm so sorry you have fibro. My sister has it and she is younger than I am and has been living with it at least 20 years. I hope your acting skills are in place and you can enjoy the occasion anyway. Love your "laughs for the day."

Do you mean fibromalgia, if so I do know, my youngest daughter has it and is quite disabled by it. My thoughts are with you.

Well I am back from the party. I did enjoy it in spite of how bad I feel. Being with the two youngest grandchildren is always such a joy.

I gave my DGD the Ariel bow tucks purse I made her and she loves it! My 2 yo grandson kept getting it and putting his toy tools in it so I promised to make him a tool belt!

Anyway I am back home, my DH is taking a nap and I am going to go lay down for a while too. For those who didn't see the purse before, I am reposting the picture. I forgot my camera so I didn't get pictures! DRAT!!! She is a 5yo beauty!

Ditter43 seem like we are both in the same boat today. I didn't sleep well last night either and I have had a hard time getting the old motor going today.
I hope you have a good day.

Sorry you are not feeling well. Things will get better.
How did the doctors diagnosis your condition. My daughter is always tired and in pain. She has been to doctor after doctor, as well as a couple of "shrinks". No diagnosis yet.
