Anything better?

Is there anything better than a quilt? It is cold, but I'm sitting by the woodstove covered with my wool quilt. Life is good.

Haven't thought of making a wool quilt, but I keep hearing how warm they are.. The down comforter is my quit of choice right now.. I keep my windows cracked, as I am in an apartment, and it is hot as crud otherwise.. Hate to see what the gas bill will be this year..

Packet of my favourite mints a quilt over me as I lie on the sofa with one dog curled up on my tummy and the other by my feet. A good book to read and the wood stove burning as I listen to the gale force winds outside and rain pounding on the porch roof.
