Hummingbird Update

I had posted here: http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-127535-1.htm a couple weeks back about a momma hummingbird nesting in the tree above our patio.

Well, we had our daughter cutting some branches back from our roof. From her view up there, she was able to take a look down in the nest and find a teeny tiny egg and a teeny tiny baby!

Thanks very interesting. We have Hummingbirds, haven't seen any nest. Since the invasion of cicadias it the area they haven't been around much, maybe it is time to have babies.

Ours is about the size of a golfball. The picture makes it look much larger than it is.
