Enough already!
I saw an article about that on CNN.com. The authorities were cautioning people not to pick them up. They said a man driving a station wagon loaded up several of the dormant iguanas which awakened while he was driving, then crawled up onto his back, almost causing a wreck! Here's the link:

here's what the iguanas look like. Imagine them crawling up your back as you drive!

YIKES! what was he thinking?

Now they are talking about rolling brownouts because people are using too much power, trying to stay warm. The electric company spokesman said they expect users to adjust their usage accordingly.

Basically, choose whether you want to freeze now or freeze later. I can't even get one room up to 60 degrees today. I want to be warm again!

sorry moonpi! These are things I guess none of us have thought about.
I didn't know that it stayed so warm down there, that ppl didn't own coats, and many have no heaters. yikes!
What a difference a couple hundred miles makes.

There fore, I had to make myself a jacket today! All I have is sweatshirt jackets. We even saw some flurries today.
